Living on base also provides you with quick and easy access to the many activities and programs offered by MWR and of course services your family relies on such as the health clinic, Commissary and Exchange. Ft. Wainwright has two Child Development Centers (CDCs) and Arctic Light Elementary School is located right on post. Bus transportation is provided to students attending nearby intermediate and high schools.
